The subject of skin fascinates me.
It shows on a cellular level the same processes that humans, who are constantly subject to external influences and thus undergo a constant renewal process, go through in their social environment in order to be able to develop.
The skin cells form connections with each other to ensure stability and cohesion, but also to communicate with each other. For this purpose, "cell bridges" serve exactly this function.
Certain protein molecules are responsible for the anchoring of the cells to each other and nevertheless ensure a certain flexibility so that the skin can stretch. It is fascinating how stretchable the different layers of the skin are. Even thoughts are stretchable. The elasticity of our world view and the associated canon of values is immense and man would benefit enormously from it if he were aware of it. What can take place on the physical level is also possible on other levels.
